Vertical Shift

Vertical Shift is a competitive multiplayer VR game with multiple game modes and missions that have players utilize multiple movement mechanics including grappling hooks, jetpacks, and wings. This has been a passion project built with others which I have been a part of since January 2020 I started as Quality Assurance and moved to Gameplay Programmer in October 2020, mainly focusing on the single player missions. Game built in Unity using C#.

A* Pathfinding and Procedural Animation

This was a project for an Artificial Intelligence class I took in college where we had to integrate a pathfinding algorithm into a project. The “spider” moves to wherever you click on the screen while avoiding obstacles using A* pathfinding while the legs of it’s model move using procedural animation. For a video of this, click the button below.

Motion Blur

Motion Blur was a project done for a game jam my school was hosting in 2018 and plays on a mechanic where your vision blurs whenever you move after suffering from a concussion. The player must navigate a maze and solve puzzles while only being able to see clearly while not moving, all while being chased by the evil villain who trapped you there. This game was made in Unity using C#. To visit the game’s itch.io page, click below

Sausage Slapper

Sausage Slapper is a multiplayer VR arena game where you wield a sausage in one hand and a shield in the other while fighting to be the last person remaining. This game was somewhat the culmination of random things I wanted to learn, including my first attempt at networking using photon, packaging materials and applying them in runtime, and creating editor scripts. Overall, the game didn’t end up being as fun to play as I thought it would be but it was a fun way to learn new concepts I was interested in and something fun to work on in my spare time. This game was made in Unity using C#. You can download the game through the button below.
